This takes patience, and if you're a busy, busy lovely - I suggest you do at least it once for an event, whether it be a lovely picnic, party, road trip or the general lovely adventures you go on.
These pictures I just collaged together on paint... but they look rather pretty.
To avoid the tacky.. print photos onto paper, so it looks better, try black and white now and then, and unless you have some cool background behind you... it looks rather rad if you cut out figures of people and stick them onto jumbles of colour, shapes and lines. Write favourite sayings, quotes, go to artsy magazines and copy the fonts they use. Buy a magazine, like yen to cut out pretty pictures, or do your own drawings.
