#129 - seek the little things

Like the little detail of lace on a collar, or a stitched heart in your pocket near your heart, heart shaped sugar cubes, a lovely little goodnight note under your pillow, painting a little french word in the corner of your desk, the bell on a bike, a daisy in your hair, a couple of dollars to a charity, a bought bread roll for a homeless man, tiny patterns of makeup, an engraved pendant, curls on the end of your handwriting... whatever it is, think of ways how a little difference to anything makes it more lovely.

Hello! I've just discovered your blog and I think it's a nice gem. I found myself really mulling over your words - I think they are great ideas to be more lovely :)

Of course, it's cool that you used a picture from Bright Star, and identifying how cool it would be to make such little notes a habit. I had a friend who wrote me a series of tiny, funny notes and hid them around my dorm room when I was away. It was really great! I look foward to reading more posts.

Thanks for following me! I'm so glad you enjoyed the post. I just started blogging and since, in effect, my journey to become an author has truely begun now too, I've been trying not to ramble... or at least, write some interesting stuff, haha.

Oh, yeah, I did fix the one syntax error - that guy followed me from my Figment site *rolls eyes* He's bent on "making me write better."

Haha, I wish I did! My friend Namie designed it for me (she commented on that post) - she's really great at that stuff.

BTW, I saw your design page and I really like your artwork. I'd like to request something (like a header or small book cover), but I'm still putting my concept together. :D
